Very much like Roku ultra that complements my 11 other Roku 4K streaming stick that I use with my YouTubeTv subscription. I bounce between two locations and like the single user interface that Roku provides across all TV brands and technologies (lcd , qled). All TVs operate with a single Roku remote
Wish list——> backlight the buttons on the remote. Also, enable voice channel commands for YouTube Tv

I bought this in late November but had to exchange for another. Mute button kept blacking out the screen and audio stayed on.

System GOOD - BUT with Bad Remote (Guessing)

Replaced original generation Ultra w SD card because box was locking up with increasing frequency. Age issue I was thinking... This new one is performing well, but remote voice command button works only intermittently and requires turning full-time mic switch on side, on and off to get a single use of momentary button, on the top side. Then nothing. Button is dead again. Either a board or pushbutton issue. I have ordered a new extra remote (battery powered) [backordered BTW] to replace it. Fingers crossed that it was the remote and not the receiver. SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS WITH AN ESTABLISHED PRODUCT. All other functions are good. Hence the stars. Still the best way to organize streaming.

I bought the Roku ultra before when it had the JBL headset, I’m still using it now in my living room. I bought this new unit for my guest room, unfortunately, the headset is not even at par with the previous JBL headset. I wish you can get back to the original winning combination of a good performing Roku w a great headset.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Player, Flakey Remote

The player is great overall. Fast and easy to use. The default settings go to the screensaver a little too quickly, especially if you have kids or pets to deal with. This makes for many more ads on YouTube. Also, maybe it is just the remote we got, but after a little over a month, the remote is now moving multiple clicks with a single click on random clicks. This is very frustrating when you are trying to select something.

A great way to organize what you watch.

When I purchased I did for the organization Roku brings to you viewing habits and the ease to navigate. I recently ordered 10 Roku devices for a friend. Most of his sets were a minimum of 5 years old. By adding the 4k Roku it turned all his sets to look as if the picture was a brand new set. 1080 becomes 4K. What a transformation.
