Wonderful device

I got this device for $99 during Boxing Day, and for that price, with the quality of this device, I can’t be happier.
This device is very fast (I have an old, not-smart Sony tv) and the many functionalities it comes with such as rechargeable, voice control, and volume control for the tv made it such a wonderful device to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best experience I've had with a streaming device

I initially wanted to pick up an nVidia Shield, but none were in stock. Roku Ultra was my second choice, but after reading more on it and looking at the cost, it seemed a better fit. Turns out it was perfect. Simple to use and everything works. Plex has always given me problems unless using a PC or PS4, but the Roku Ultra handles it perfectly. Other apps that were laggy on competing products are snappy. Picture quality is great, though I'm only using 1080p so can't speak to 4K performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great streaming device

I picked this Roku Streaming Stick 4K Mainly based on the claims of long range wi-fi and super fast startup. It is pretty simple to install and seems to work well with the new local streaming service that we just subscribed to - we are changing from Satellite service.
It didn't hurt that it was on sale either.
We actually have several, connected to various TVs and and another reason we went to streaming and bought them is that we can use them at our summer cottage as well.
These Roku units are of minimal size, easy portability and so far seem to do what we need very well at a reasonably low cost. As a bonus you get extra channels that you don't have to pay for.

The Roku Ultra was super simple to set up! I love that the HDMI cable was included! Very user friendly system, especially for people who are not very techie!

Works really well

Had a streaming box from another manufacturer, which was frequently hanging up. Measured WiFi signal strength and Internet speed at that location, was better than required. Decided to try Roku Ultra. Easy to set up, interface is easy to use, works solidly where the other manufacturer's box didn't. Bought a second Ultra for another room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Strongly recommend
Quick and easy to use
Airplay works fantastically
The headphone Jack on the remote is unique and very useful if watching tv late at night
I haven’t used the voice control much, it works but you need to be close to the remote
