I have a Roku Ultra 2022 and there are 3 annoying issues with it: 1. You can't stream Bluetooth audio and TV audio at the same time. It's either one or the other. Same behavior using headphones in the remote. This is really bad for those with a hearing impairment that might want to listen at a separate volume via headphones or hearing aids. 2. The white status LED is always on. There is no way to dim it or just turn it off. It's very bright and annoying especially in a bedroom at night. 3. No backlight on the remote keys. This makes using the remote difficult when there is very little ambient light in the room.
These seem like no-brainer features that should have been included. I'll probably return it and try to find something else.
I replaced my older roku with this a little over a year ago for the hdr support and within the last few months have been having several issues. The stereo frequently won't turn on when I power up. The sound will just go out after watching for a while. I have to reboot to recover. Occasionally, I'll get a loud buzzing and no sound. Again, I have to reboot to recover. Frequently the volume control will work for about 4 clicks and then stop. I have to let the remote rest before it starts working again. Got fed up and reconnected my old Roku.
The major difference between the Ultra & Ultra LT is the LT remote still uses replaceable batteries and does not have user programmable channel buttons. It does have the headphone jack. We ditched our cable provider's bundle and went with another internet provider and live TV streaming service. We moved our land line number to a budget cellular provider - and saved $100/month. While I have a couple older simpler Roku devices, I replaced all but one with the Roku Ultra LT. I'll recover all my expense within six months. The two additions I could wish for is the ability to control a separate sound device that cannot be controlled by the TV's volume control. AND a button to control TV input selection. I was able to find a device (SideClick) that attaches to a Roku remote and provides these features, plus up/down OTA channel selection. But built-in would be better.
It worked for a while. Now it freezes up and crashes regularly.

I haven’t had this device for a year yet it keeps losing a connection and shuts off. I have tried all the steps to reset, etc. I have had it with the aggravation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cons - PROBLEM - ethernet cords -don't snap into the back of the Roku Ultra - Please Fix Cord Falls out - cord suggestion or sell a Roku Ethernet cord
Sounds like the newer Rokus have problems - I just hope the NEW charged battery remote lasts vs the remotes which take physical batteries - I do like the new idea of charging the remote with a USB cord -
Very nice features however, this model often loses audio for a couple of seconds. Also during any program recording video freezes, audio can be heard but the video stays still, the only way to solve this to to reboot the device!
