I like the Roku Ultra. it is easy to use and easy to navigate. The only disappointment I have is the new samsung tv purchased can't get 4k thru the ultra.

Excellent streamer, but annoying hardware problem

I bought two of these over a year ago and they started exhibiting the same problem in the past couple of months. After being off for a long time, when I turn them on, an annoying buzzing noise blares from my speakers. I have to unplug the unit to get the noise to stop. One unit, I can understand, but two? This seems like more than an isolated problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2nd Roku

This is my 2nd Roku. I have had one on my main tv for several years. I decided to get another to put in my guest room. I am a Roku fan! This easy to navigate and voice is easy to locate a movie. I highly recommend it.

Easy to set up and Increased speed of using TV

I have had a few Roku devices over the years. The latest one may be the best one.
I like the fact I can charge up the remote without changing batteries. It is easier as long as I do not lose the charging cord.
It is also faster to access my TV set and turn on YouTube which we use for watching traditional TV stations. Moreover, one click and I can be in Netflix or Paramount.
The picture is crisp and clear and it integrated perfectly with the sound bar that I use.

Good until it mutes, fast forwards & buzzes

When it works the ROKU Ultra is great. However, after a few months it started losing its sound, then it randomly started skipping forward, and then finally it started making a loud buzzing sound. I thought I must have gotten a bad one so I contacted Customer support and they sent me a new one. Now a few months later, the replacement one is doing the exact same thing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this Roku I especially love it also is a remote to turn on tv and adjust volume. One remote. Also the lighted pad when moved easy to find when watching in bed at night.
