Better than built-in Roku

Not sure why almost every tv nowadays needs apps built in but it seems to bog down a lot of different types of televisions. Anyways, for that reason, I bought the ultra to get rid of slowdowns and crashes that would occur. About a month in and it's performed way better. I even use the Lan hookup and that's worked quite well.

Decided to try the Roku Ultra. It is snappy quick. Also like the rechargable remote. Like it is backlit too.

this ultra replace the earlier version of the Ultra, i hard wire my device and Roku makes it simple, no buffering, supports everything you need!!

I like Roku. I just wish it was easier to change subscriptions before 30 days is up. You are stuck paying for something for 30 days if you don't want it. It doesn't just end an̈d then you get your money back for the remaining days.

Good Improvements Over the Previous Ultra

This is my second pair of Roku Ultras for my home theater and living room. The older Ultras performed well for about seven years, but one of them began having issues with freezing and rebooting.
The new Ultras are noticeably snappier when running the same apps from before. Once I gave each of the new Ultras the same name as one of the old ones, it loaded the apps that the old Ultra had. (I still had to log in to all the services, however.)
The remote with the new Ultra has backlighting and is rechargeable. The new remote and/or Ultra works with my soundbar in the living room, which allowed me to retire an old, no-longer-supported Harmony remote. The Ultra in my home theater works well with my Sofabaton hub.

Remote is chargeable

I like the fact I can charge remote. Maybe I haven’t figured this out yet but not sure how low remote is so I just plug it in every few days.
