Great product as expected from Dewalt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works excellent for what it is designed for. Not something I would use on a daily basis being that I am not a plumber, but it worked flawlessly and did speed up the process of pipe cutting. Would definitely recommend this product for someone that works with copper pipe on a normal basis. The only problem that I see with it is that it ties up another tool in the process. Would be nice to have the pipe cutter as a dedicated tool that accepted a battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dewalt pipe cutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always believed in Dewalt. They have some of the best tools out there. I was really excited when this product came out and I was able to enter to try it out. It works as advertised feels durable easy change out of the blades and cuts. Great I would recommend this product. I would love if it came out with a kit version easy carrying case with extra blades.

Great with a few flaws

stand-alone mini cutters is awesome. I do wish they had a stand alone tool you have to dedicate an impact to it when you need it

Sweet copper cutting attachment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sweet quick connection for the impacts, simple and easy to attach to the impact. Comes with both 1/2 and 3/4 cutting gears takes only a couple of seconds to change. Rotates 360 for a better angle to cut, with a locking inplace screw. Attachmet arm does extend to the base of the impact i would assume most impact brands as well. I attached it to my spare impact with no issue. So far its working really well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first the tool was a little awkward to hold and put to use but I got the hang of it quickly.
I like the brace around the bottom to keep the second hand free to stabilize your self on a ladder or hold the pipe. I like the that the brace and tool are quick disconnect so the impact can be used for other purposes. I have back up impacts and will probably leave it on one during the jobs that I need it. I was greatly impressed how fast it cut and that I could trim small amounts off.

I was greatly impressed how fast it cut and that I could trim small amounts off.
Concerns I have but may not be an impact depending on the job. It cuts fast which is great but it puts quick a bit of rotation on the pipe as well. I use my free hand to stabilize and hold the pipe against rotation. The other concern I had was the radius bevel it puts on the bed of the cut pipe as well as the pipe spears out of round after the cut. So far it hasn’t had an impact on what I am doing but it may stand out to some contractors as a problem. I think you could reduce the force on the cutter a little and go a couple more revolutions to not bevel the end of make it out of round.
Over all I really like it. I have spent what seams like hours with burning shoulders cutting pipe in floors croaking and walls. this tools will greatly improve my efficiency and not take so much wear on my shoulders working over head.

Tubbing cutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Copper tubing cutter works great . It’s not for every situation. Getting that entire contraption into a tight spot would be a challenge, but when you have the space it beats flipping a tubing cutter around .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could buy the guy who thought of this a beer! This thing is amazing and I’m proud to see Dewalt once again leading the industry! It works flawlessly and I hope you add more cutter sizes! I really love the fact that it fits all impacts universally and is very easy to install and remove. It cuts pipe like butter and is very easy to use. It is very easy to change the cutting head and the change over is very fast. The tool fits in tight spots quite easily.

Fast, versatile cutter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This copper pipe cutter is definitely worth having. It gave me a clean, accurate cut in less than a second. The rotating head is helpful for tight spots and it installed and uninstalled from my impact drill very quickly and easily. Only downside is that it’s a bit bulky and awkward. For someone like myself, this is a great option as it’s far faster, more precise, and has the versatility needed to make it worth having.
The only reason for the 4 star vs 5 is that it’s bulky, a little awkward to use one handed, and it is on the heavy side. Outside of those, overall, this is a well built, versatile, and really nice tool. I’ve already recommended it to friends that do more copper work than I do. Nice addition to the toolbox
