[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start by saying I am a full time professional plumber focusing primarily on residential single and multi family new construction. Because of the amount of repetitive copper cutting I have to do this tool has quickly become a favorite. I feel that it is well designed and I appreciate the fact that it fits on the Dewalt impact that I already own. This thing has really saved my wrist since receiving it. My favorite use for it is cutting stub out pieces coming from the wall to install compression angle stops. I’ve found that just about butting this thing to the wall is the perfect length cut on the copper for an escutcheon and angle stop. I really appreciate that the head turns on the drill to allow for this tight of a cut! I have also used this to cut older cpvc which has a tendency to crack but this tool worked great for it. Setup on my drill was quick and simple so I’m not afraid to remove it and use the impact for other things when not cutting copper. I think Dewalt has really hit a home run with this one!

Decent copper cutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It definitely cuts very well and makes quick work when cutting copper. It is on the heavier side, as well as being a little bulky, so it made it challenging to make some cuts in a tight enclosed space. I use my impact for just about everything which is why I have the belt clip on it. That was also an issue as the base didn't set on the tool as well as it should have/intended. All in all I like it and will use it when making multiple cuts, great addition to my tool collection.

Works great for us doing remodel splices and/or repairs. Small and compact when detached from the dril or impact gun. Will be buying additional units for our other trucks and trailers.

I had to replace my water heater recently, and decided the little manual copper cutter I've had for a decade needed an upgrade. This tool could not be easier to use. Loosen up the knobs, chuck it right into virtually any 1/4" impact, tighten everything up, and you're ready to go. It comes packaged with 1/2" and 3/4" cutter heads, and easy to read instructions. The cuts were bur-free and precise. 10/10 recommend to professionals and DIY'ers alike!

Cool looking, not much else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works as intended cuts copper pipe and pvc pipe very easily also i can almost guarantee you won’t have any trouble finding it in the toolbox because of its size. It’s a cool attachment but its a hard sell because of its weight and convenience of use

A Time Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DeWalt Impact Copper Cutter attachment excels in the job that it is required to do. It will save me time when I have a lot of copper to cut.
It was a little cumbersome to attach to my impactor (DeWalt DCF887), but once it was on it was easy to use. It did not fully tighten to the base of my impactor, but that did not stop it's performance.
This will be an attachment that will be in my arsenal for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment works well. I like how easy it is to attach to my impact (works on drill also). Had to remove my beltclip from my impact. It is a little heavy but rests easy on subfloor. Its great for making a bunch of cuts in a row too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cut 3/4 copper with no effort at all.Easy to assemble but wish it would come as a stand alone tool a bit nose heavy. Worked great in a tight space behind a shower kinda surprised. Made the job pretty easy compared to the old manual cutter. Switching over the cutter to 1/2 was a no brainer. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was the nose heavy factor which I get because of the design attachment. Just more of a stand alone tool kind of person.
