These are such a disappointment compared to my old, tried and true Boses that I've had for at least 9 years. I've actually taken to using my old ones instead of these ones most of the time. These have an updated look and our Beautiful, but unfortunately they just suck. Occasionally they will cut out altogether, even if I have them only connected to one device. They don't find my source reliably, even when it is in my pocket, or next to where I'm sitting. Never mind dog walks when my phone is in my back pocket. It will just cut out constantly in those cases. If I were not so outrageously lazy I would send them right back because they were a lot of money to be this disappointed. Have a look at Reddit, this is a common problem, and the only way to stop it from cutting out when you're listening to music or books or anything else… You have to disable certain features. So all these new features they've introduced become useless because their Bluetooth technology just sucks.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing audio issues with your Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen). Intermittent audio can occur for several reasons, including interference from nearby devices such as Wi‑Fi routers or microwaves. Outdated drivers or firmware may also cause instability, while power‑saving settings can limit Bluetooth performance. Environmental factors, like crowded areas with many wireless signals, and mismatched Bluetooth versions can further contribute to connection issues.
To improve stability, we recommend keeping devices close, updating firmware and software, disabling battery saver mode, disconnecting unused pairings, and restarting both devices to clear temporary glitches. Here’s a helpful support link that can guide you through resolving these issues. (https://bose.life/4dDYeR9) We hope this helps!
Replaced ~5year nc700. Cant hear any difference, was hoping for improved noise cancelling and better sound but feels its pretty much the same product.

Bought this for upcoming dental work LOL and a plane trip soon. These are superior and the noise cancelling is amazing!! The sound quality is unmatched. I bought the purple and they are so comfortable!!!! LOVE
I love my new Bose Ultra Headphones! Sound, comfort all incredible! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the mechanics of it do take some getting used to. Maybe because I was just used to my old Bose but the new ones don’t seem to work as efficiently. It’s hard to know exactly when they’re on or off. And they don’t fit in the case as nicely as the old ones. But I would still only purchase Bose.
