My husband won't let me buy any other brand of charcoal! He makes the most fantastic food on our TWO weber grills, and his new Weber Smokey Mountain cooker that he got for his birthday. He has been using Kingsford for years, and we wouldn't have it any other way!!!

Not as good

I have noticed that while the new design may light faster it does not burn as long or as hot. I have had to increase the amount I use and cook longer hoping that the coals are still warm. I am still using but have begun to use some other brands( Sam's Club and Royal Oak) to see which is the best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have tried other brands over the years but always come back to Kingsford. We have a family bbq every Sunday weather permitting and the Family loves everything that comes off the grille!

I need more meat

Grilling chicken is about the only thing that takes the entire life of kingsford charcoal. Grilling anything else gets me upset because just when the coals get really ready to start cooking it's usually done and I feel like I'm wasting charcoal. I swear by my kingsford and my weber. =)

I WON'T BUY ANY OTHER BRAND OF CHARCOAL, BECAUSE YOUR PRODUCT IS THE BEST ON THE MARKET. IT LIGHTS EASY, BURNS EVEN & IS READY VERY QUICKLY. YOUR LIGHTER FLUID IS GREAT ALSO. THE OTHER BRANDS IT SEEMS LIKE IT TAKES THE WHOLE BOTTLE JUST TO GET THE CHARCOAL GOING, BUT WITH YOURS IT JUST TAKES A LITTLE.
IF I'M GRILLING SOMEWHERE BESIDES HOME & SOMETIMES AT HOME, I GRAB THE MATCHLIGHT SO I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DRAGGING THE FLUIID ALONG.
PEOPLE ARE CRAZY IF THEY BUY ANYTHING ELSE!!!
