I just used Kinsford last night Bar-B-Q'ing pork steaks. It lights quickly and is easy to use too!

Good stuff, though the cost keeps going up faster than I can keep track of. Twin packs used to be 44 pounds, now they are 32 or 33 pounds I think? I always buy a year's supply from Home Depot or Lowes every Memorial Day weekend.

This is the only brand of charcoal I buy. I use a chimney to light my charcoal and it takes no time at all.

This is our coal of choice. The pieces aren't broken and it holds the temp long enough to cook what we are grilling.

I cook alot on a stick burner smoker. I have discovered it is much easier to control the fire temp. it I use a bed of coals and add wood on top. This make a very stable temp. and I add a little wood for flavor. I buy large quantities when I find on sale. I can cook for over four hours using less than 20 lbs. and a few pieces of wood.
