I am the master pit bbq I know when people bbq an do not use Kingsford charcoal the food has a odor taste I can tell by the way of the smoke smells I buy it in the double pack so I don't run out..awww the food taste so much better!!

Works better than any other brand of briquet. Less smoke, less soot, burns even and with a consistent heat. My summerlong go-to charcoal. However if I want something a little hotter the Kingsford Competition is really nice but it does not have the same staying power that the Original does.
Every time I pick up a different brand on sale to save a few bucks I regret it. Too much filler and dust and soot. I use a chimney starter so I can get a feel for each batch of coals as they are heating and hands down Kingsford are the best, Original and Competition are where its at.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kingsford is the only charcoal brand that my family uses. I have seen this red, white, and blue bag all my life. My grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, uncle, cousins, me, etc. only buy the best -- and Kingsford is the best!
