Kingsford Original is excellent in even burning and heat generation. It is also the longest burning charcoal I have ever used. Although I have used the Kingsford Hickory and Kingsford Mesquite, the Original is still the very best

We have almost always used Kingsford Charcoal the few times we did not and bought
another brand we were very disappointed in the out-come of our B-B-Q! Other brands did not burn as well and went out early.

This is the only charcoal my dear husband will let me buy. He prefers it to grilling on our gas grill.
