The product is extremely limited in functionality. I can only use fan mode high low or auto cold or hot. I can not use so many features available in my heat pump. I constantly need to use the remote from the heat pump for swing and other features

The controller cannot hold the appropriate temp at all. If I set it for 68 when I go to bed, it will go down to 65 or lower before I fall asleep, then I'll wake up in the middle of the night and it's 73 in the room. WASTE OF MONEY

I like the ability to be able to adjust the temp and to run the geofencing, but I wish that it had the fan controls in it like my hand control does. Great product nonetheless.

I had problems with configuration, eg I set it to degs C which it did on the DC6 but I could not get the Carrier inside unit to read C.

This unit gives you basic function control over heating and cooling. You still need your remote for select items like swing and louver settings. Does what I need it to but I would like to see some improvements in the options it can manage.
