I keep it on my desk and write notes in it day in and day out. Turning the pages recklessly and the tight holes in the pages can bind up with the spiral. This may result in the perforated edge begining to unzip if enough force is applied.

I use this product to outline each chapter of my math textbook. It could have approx 20 more sheets. my chapters usually have 5 or 6 sections. I'd like to keep each chapter in one notebook.
