The pages are very poorly light weight. If you write with a gel ink pen or a pilot pen the ink bleeds through before you know it and the pages are like a sponge not only the ink is on the second page but it bleeds to additional pages. if you try to tear the pages off the the tear won't be easy like regular note books in staples.

A Good Buy and Great Product

As a full time college student the one subject notebooks are a dream.. I use the Staple brand over any other. The quality this product provides is top notch. The only issue I have with the notebook is I can hardly ever find them on sale. The last time I purchased some they were [$] each. I had to buy as many as I could for that price because I was certain I wouldn't see them this low again for a loooooong time.

I have gone back to school and these notebooks are perfect for taking notes and organizing my classes. The label on the front makes it easy to tell which notebook is for which class.
