With back to school at hand I was able to purchase enough notebooks for my 5 grandchilren for school and spent way less than I would have elsewhere. .17 cents each was a terrific deal!
I bought these notebooks for use in a writing class for residents of a nursing home. We meet weekly to write stories about their past. They love having their own notebook with a bright cover and nice wide lines for their now enlarged handwriting! With a spiral notebook all their pages stay together! Sometimes it is hard for them to find individual pieces of paper in their room but with the notebooks we can usually find them. It also keeps all of their stories in one place so they are ready to review or hand their notebook in to have their "latest" story prinited out on my computer. For the price these are a great bargain for a nursing home activity departmewnt budget. For our residents as they come each week I think it makes them feel just a little more "impressive" to other residents as they come to class! Just like carrying a notebook when they were in school years ago!
I love the prices of these notebooks during the summer. As a teacher I typically stock up on these so that I can use them for my students. We use a notebook for each of the subjects in school and the different colors offered help me to level my students w/out them knowing. If I had to offer any criticism it would be that the wires pose a threat to the students and sometimes can scratch them when they become loose and start to become entangled with clothes or other items. Another I might offer would be to offer higher limits for those that can verify that they are teachers.
My daughter needs a bunch of these color-coded by subject each year. Staples back to school sale this year made this a completely painless purchase. In fact I was easily able to afford buying extra so I could donate them to the community bin.
