So by pulling the paper sheets gently on the left side would tear the paper sheets evenly without uneven torn paper sheets. You get way more than what you pay for here. These are always priced so low for back to school. I buy for my kids and myself. They are great to take in van for doodling. I also use them for ad matching. Cheap!!! - that is a good thing.

I purchased a quantity of these 70-page one-subject notebooks in the wide-ruled variety. These along with a variety of Staple's merchandise will be a gift to an elementary school teacher for distribution to kids in her inner city classroom. The paper quality is good and the durability of the covers (back and front) should enable long-lasting use. Classroom teachers prefer use of these notebooks to use of loose-leaf notebooks especially for younger age groups. All their notes are secure in one binding.
