These spirals come in a lot of appealing colors and were on sale for about 25 cents apiece during back to school shopping season. More sheets of paper would be a big plus as it's not quite enough to last the school year for a junior high kid. Other than that they're fine. Perforated edge works well to remove sheets cleanly without spiral edges. I also stock up on them to keep my own notes organized for medical/insurance work etc. or to bring to meetings or when writing at a cafe so you can close the cover on your notes when not in use rather than an open floppy pad of paper.

Good quality for general use

I use a lot of these one subject notebooks -- although I prefer the college ruled--and they are a great bargain on the Staples back to school sales. Depending on what you use them for cannot beat the price or the quality.

Great light and colorful notebook

I love this notebook. One of the main reasons is because they have 70 --8X10 1/2 sheets of wide ruled paper and the cover of the notebook is not overly thick and heavy. You know how high school or college backpacks can get EXTREMELY heavy and bulky. The spiral that the paper sits on is also compact and not overly large and heavy. This enables my college-aged son to lighten his backpack and take notes if he needs to in separate notebooks for each of his classes. (He has his computer as well.) The notebooks come in bright solid colors and there were at least 6-7 different colors to chose from. In addition the notebooks are inexpensive!! There are also folders (inexpensive and with the same bright colors available) with or without a binder inside that match these notebooks. That way you can have the notebook and folder for a particular class match in color. That is a good way to keep track of what goes together for each class and can end up saving you time. Any ideas help for efficiency. I like these notebooks for myself as well!!

prefer the polycovered notebooks you have sold in the past for durability. Otherwise no issue with notebooks. Worth the price when on sale.
