This phone is awesome

aesthetically, this phone is very sharp and feels great in your hand. the specs are great and my wife and i have not experienced any slow down even during high usage. i've dropped this thing so many times, on concrete, asphalt and wood, and used it in the rain and sand and it's withstood everything. it's built like a tank. very happy with this phone!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone, but some things missing

great phone. battery life goes long, but could be better.
some people have told me i sound bassy or muddy on phonecalls. maybe it's the extra water proofing?

2 things that seem to be missing are motion photo capture and dual bluetooth pairing for multiple speakers at once.
they just don't appear anywhere in the phone.

what gives, samsung? seems like it would be an extra step to take it out than leave in.

Rugged waterproof replaceable battery

the phone is awesome! rugged was a must! the only disappointment is not being able to by a backup battery in the us. i've searched everywhere. one of the main reasons i bought this phone, was to be able to have a charged backup battery. very misleading, selling this phone with that feature.

the phone is everything as advertised, i did purchase a 512gb sim for it. using it with a mint phone sim, works very well, very easy to setup. i've never had a non-carrier issued phone before, it's really nice not having the associated bloatware. feels like a substantial phone that will last for a long time. the one minor insignificant drawback, the on buttom seems very sensitive, phone activates in my pocket a lot.

i tried to write a constructive review on the features that work and don't work but apparently went over the 800 characters for doing so without there being any indication along the way of how many characters i had left. so you are going to have to settle for the stars. i bought this phone for one reason. it was compatible with my bluetooth hearing aids. if it were not for that i would return it. i am not satisfied with the camera, the buttons, and some of its performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i bought a brand new galaxy xcover pro hoping to use it on total wireless, which is a verizon mvno. i inserted the sim card, but i was unable to get it to connect to the network.
i have been a long time samsung customer, but, sadly, i would not recommend this product to a friend.

i wanted a phone that could survive my clumsiness. cnet rated this phone as one of the most rugged available.
i thought it was going to be huge,buy, it very manageable. being able to link with my work computer was nice also.
just a great phone with a lot of options.

Would not buy again

though it's tough as i need, it has a lot of bugs.. screen calibration is poor at best, 4-5 days a week i have issues where it refuses to recognize any network besides wifi & that's shoddy & unreliable. it randomly reboots constantly even with me being super picky about making sure it's updated. i have more loading screens & than actually actually seeing what i'm trying to see. the camera has the worst focus i've dealt with. i'm seriously about to go back to my near dead s7 active.. at least it worked aside from the battery being on life support.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
