The side buttons don't work; it's a very poor design. Either I received a case from a bad batch or they really missed the mark.

Hi, Received my new iPhone Pro Max and was so excited to see the new line of Otterbox cases. I always purchase these cases for my phones as they are dependable and sturdy, they always last beyond the time I have my phone.
The sole case that I purchased is beautiful and looks so good with my orange phone. I'm a few weeks into using this case and its absolutely horrible. The lock key (which has emergency capabilities as well) stays pushed down most times which leads to the inability to use the other buttons as it interferes, or to even lock my screen. It has called emergency services 2 times when I hit rumble strips while driving from the case button constantly hitting the lock button, while docked on my magsafe dock, which does not touch the side of the phone.
I have had to turn off all of the extra features for the buttons so that I stop calling emergency services, and have to hold the side of the case open in order for it to stop pushing the button so that I can use a different one.
Very inconvenient and frustrating.

The case looked great coming out of the box, had it a few days before I got the phone. Only issue I had with it was that when I got the phone, the case held down the power button. I’ve since had to bend the case outward around the power button so it wouldn’t hold down the power button. Other than that the MagSafe works great and it keeps the phone looking slim rather than a bulky case.

it’s a really cool and thin feeling case that provides great protection for the size. Luckily I haven’t dropped my phone yet but according to the ratings it’s more protective to the symmetry case. It feels the same size but is more protective.
The biggest downside is the home button and the camera control button. It feels super nice and clicky but is really easy to press just holding your phone or rearranging it in the hands. I had to turn off Siri from the home button and the camera control. It sucks I can’t use those features in my new phone but I probably would use them anyways. I am used to doing it old school. Clicking the camera button from the lock screen or the app. I also never use siri I just type to look things up
Cool and protective case but button clicks are a detriment to the case.
