This Coffee Maker Does It All!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker literally has it all, and its slim design doesn’t take up as much counter space.
The wife and I program it to automatically make 12 cups of coffee in the morning. Then, if we go out later on in the day, we use the single cup for a travel mug to take with us. For the single cup we can choose to use either a K-cup pod or simply use coffee grounds from a bulk tin/bag in the single serve brew basket. Being able to make single cups using the latter is more economical than individual K-cups and is more environmentally friendly. It’s great that both inserts are included, giving you the choice and flexibility. You can also choose to make a single serve ice coffee (which I haven’t tried).
Depending on the size of mug you’re using, you can choose between 8, 10, 12 or 14 ounces. And the “cup rest” that you would normally have in place for a ceramic mug is removable to accommodate a taller travel mug. There’s also a brew strength option if you want a “bolder” cup of coffee.
What’s unique about this coffee maker is that there is no heating plate. Instead, the carafe is basically a metal thermos. I love that it’s metal and not glass (won’t break), and was also surprised at how long it kept the coffee hot. When brewing, since you cannot see the coffee filling in the carafe, the number of cups is progressively displayed on the screen. To know how much is left in the carafe as you consume the coffee, I usually go by the weight, but you can also open the lid and peek inside.
It has a “sneak-a-cup” feature that allows you to remove the carafe while it’s still brewing if you’re like me and can’t wait until it finishes (lol).
The display has an LED touchscreen and is easy to read.
The instruction manual comes in 3 languages, English, Spanish & French. It carries the ETL, UL and CSA safety certification stamps.

I have to say that I was impressed with this coffee maker. It does everything I need a coffee maker to do and more! It’s well designed, takes up less space, and everything works great.

A very nice addition to my kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A sleek multifunctional coffee maker which does not take up a lot of counter space. The reservoir is used for all functions including making a pot or a single cup. Very nice feature. The thermo insulated carafe keeps the coffee hot for about 4 hours and the warm for up to 8. As I was used to a clear pot, I did have to learn to empty the pot before making more coffee. I selected 12 cups and the coffee overflowed onto the counter because coffee from the previous pot was not emptied. The single cup feature makes a very fast and hot cup of coffee. Greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

A must for coffee lovers

This is very easy to use . I have made both a pot and single brew. It has a program and ice coffee setting but I haven’t used them.This is a sleek design so it doesn’t take up much room.

This Flex Brew Advanced coffee maker is the best!

Instead of being on the back, the side position allows for easy removal for filling and cleaning. This Flex Brew Advanced also accommodates several size coffee cups as well as gives the option for the number of ounces of brewing for single servings. Feel like making a pot of coffee? Well this Flex Brew can do that as well. Another feature of this product that is nice is the choice of using either the coffee pod or ground coffee for a single serve. Included is a ground coffee single serve attachment. If you’re looking for a coffee maker for home, office, RV, this one is for you! The compact design and ease of use will accommodate any coffee need.

Fresh delicious coffee pod or not hot or iced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set up my new Hamilton Beach flex brew five in one coffee maker on my kitchen island. I washed all the removable parts prior to testing the coffee maker. I was impressed by how easy it is to operate and clean. I filled the water reservoir to max so I could brew several types of coffee. The full carafe was delicious and kept hot for at least a half hour in the insulated carafe. The carafe was a little heavy though and I couldn’t tell how much was left without opening the lid. The single cups of coffee I made with my favorite ground coffee in the cone with a filter both hot and cold. The coffee was delicious. I like the ability to change the strength of the coffee, pods or ground coffee and hot or iced coffee. This is a terrific coffee maker

We use it daily with kcups and on the weekend we use ithe thermal carafe. I can make an ice coffee single to bring to work. It's also a space saver on the counter.
