Carafe leaks, constant cleaning error

We had the previous stainless steel carafe flex brew and loved it so we upgraded to the newer model. This carafe leaks constantly when pouring a cup. Machine states you have 20 seconds to pull out the pot to pour a coffee while brewing which is not the case. The single cup constantly is clogged and the clean light comes on regularly so you can not brew until you spend over an hour cleaning. After this experience I am not a fan of Hamilton Beach.

The pot has never not leaked. Sadly, after only a year and a half it leaks so bad it's useless.

Flex brew coffee maker

What a lousy coffee maker.
Looks good, but it doesn't hold up. We bought a flexbrew s/n. , in June 2025 , put it into service july 2025 . Used it 3 months than got clean error according to the operating manual. Two weeks later got another clean error. ( we have a water ssoftner and a water filter system).in February got a clean nozzle ,clean pot bought coffee pot cleaner ran two bottles back to back every month since the coffee maker keeps showing clean nozzle and clean pot,
Trying to make coffee you have to stay and watch the maker because it will make 2 Oz, stHut down press start it make 4oz shuts down, etc . You must keep pressing start to get a cup or apot of cofffee.. it leak water under thee pot.. DO NOT BUY THIS COFEE MAKER FOM HAMILTON BEACH !!!!!!

Returning to the Store

This machine has some really neat features.But the negatives out way.rje positives.. You have to keep the digital display on, you can't manually turn it off. You have to wait hours for it to do it itself. If you want to program it to brew at a certain time, you have to leave it on for hours.. If a power glitch happens and the machine shuts off, there's no way to turn the burner back on to keep your coffee hot.

So far so good my only complaint is no button that says when to clean. And no area to filter water which means bottled water ?

Only worked a month

I ordered this coffee maker and loved it! After only 38 days it malfunctioned and coffee would come out of the single serve area when carafe was selected and vice versa make a huge mess multiple times. Called Hamilton Beach and they said it needed to be cleaned. I cleaned the unit as directed in the manual. Tried to have a cup of coffee the next day and the CLEAN UNIT scroll is going across the screen and it will not go off. Can not even make ANY coffee now. Its AWFUL!
