case does not seem like it was really made for the one 5g ace. it's a bit big and loose on top. slips right off. hard to believe otterbox would do this to their customers. so disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

10 year customer, first absolute fail compounded by late shipment which turned my paid overnight shipping into 3 day ship missing delivery before a flight. This case does NOT retain the top of the phone at all, slipping out effortlessly; inexcusable engineering fail. Thrown in trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was excited to see a major case maker making a case fort he phone I wanted to get. I bought this case a week before I bought my phone and was excited to have a good quality case from a brand I've had great luck with in the past and I'm honestly disappointed.
This case fits decently, and had the dust covers and in general, looks good. The problem I have with this case is the lack of protection. When my phone gets bumped at the top, the phone comes out if the case. I can't help but think of my phone slipping out on a drop. It seems like it doesn't have enough side plastic at the top to keep the car into the phone, of the TPU needs to be stiffer to not let the phone just pop out. If I take my phone and slap the top of it into the palm of my hand, half the phone is out of the case.
I really wish that this was a good case, as it's a struggle to find any cases for this phone, but sadly isn't. Guess I'll have to keep trying out generic cases until something better pops up.

The phone pops out at the TOP all the time it is not secure. The bottom is very secure and cannot come out. It is the way they made it there is no plastic from half way up the side to the top and because of that it will never secure the phone. When the phone is in the case it looks normal and there is a lip covering a little of the screen all the way around evenly like it should my case is not defective its poorly designed. The 2 times I have dropped it the phone came out of the case it also comes out at the top any time you pull it out of a pocket. Sending me a new one will not fix the issue.
