I have had this OtterBox for just about a month now. If you have seen some of the reviews claiming that their phone comes out of the case... I definitely can see how that could happen, especially if it were hit hard enough. The plastic part of the OtterBox is definitely not the strongest or thickest kinda plastic either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this item for about a month now. All the port openings and buttons are aligned perfectly. Luckily, I haven't had the opportunity to see how well it will actually protect my phone. I like the two part system and it does seem to be robust and should do the job when called upon to do so. My only concern is that the corners of the phone seem to slip out easier than previous cases.
