Good quality of materials but it doesn't fit tight enough, handset tends to fall out. No protection for the three camera lenses. No holster offered.

3rd Otterbox, and I don't see that changing

I've had an otterbox for my samsung S5, S20, and now my moto 5g Ace. Both the S5, and the moto 5g Ace are the larger cases with an extended lip, or ridge along the outside that protects the phone better against screen cracks. However, the smaller case has exposed ports for charging that I much prefer. I'm considering taking an xacto knife to my new case to get rid of the port flap since I find it more annoying than protective of the ports. Maybe if I worked in a very dirty environment it would matter, but to me I would rather have the larger case, and exposed ports.

First Otterbox that doesn't fit?!?!

Like other reviewers, I always buy Otterboxes for my phone and have never had any issues of cracked phones while using them. This case does not hold on to the top of the phone at all. Other commuter cases I have had you were not able to actually pull the phone out of the case until you removed the hard plastic shell first, but with this case that is not true. You can completely remove the phone while the hard shell exterior is still on. One time I dropped the phone in this case and all but one corner of the phone came out of the case.
Would not recommend this case and since there is no other Otterboxes for this model, I would suggest finding another brand. I realize that Moto phones are not the biggest sellers for Otterbox, but I would expect that they put the same level of quality control on at least making sure the case proper fits the phones.

Huge OtterBox fan and disappointed

I'm just like several reviewers, I've always had an OtterBox with a new phone so I am guessing I've purchased more than a dozen between myself and kids. The case for the Motorola 5G ace always pops out at the top left and just isn't that snug. I copied the 800# and I'll be contacting customer service next week.

Bad case design.

I've had otter boxes on all of my phones for a decade or more. This otterbox is the worst I've owned. Ever case before this had the hard plastic on the inside and the soft, gripping rubber on on the outside. I don't understand why they switched their design to have the smooth hard plastic on the outside. But I've thrown this phone on accident more times than my last 3 phones. Avoid this case..

Sounds like you'd grown accustomed to our Defender Series rather than the Commuter Series, which actually has been in our lineup for more than eight years, perhaps even longer.
The Defender Series isn't available for your current device nor do we have plans to add it, so, unfortunately, if the Commuter Series won't work for your needs and taste we'd have to suggest returning the item to T-Mobile for a refund. Rest assured that we'll share your feedback with our design team, and we do hope that we'll have something else that is of interest to you down the road.
