Wanna love it, but..

I love my Contigo mug. I really do. I've never had a mug keep coffee hot for so long!
And spillproof is wonderful.
However, It isn't entirely spill proof.
The seal, the o-ring, often gets out of whack and suddenly.
. Leaking!
First time it soaked my backpack.
I've learned to check now.
So, I do love my mug. I just need one that really doesn't leak... ever.

The lid somehow cracked and leaked coffee all over my car. I wish it was possible to get a replacement!

Impossible to get the lid to seal

Once you can actually get the lid threaded on straight, then the gasket slides out of the groove and contents leak all over.

Hard to clean seals! No replacement parts!!!

I have loved my contigo snap seal cups for a long time. As others have said the seals and stopper are hard to clean, and eventually break down. Since there are no manufacturer-replacement seals, nor are there any replacement lids available, this company is depending on selling entire new cups just to replace damaged parts. The inconvenience for customers is one thing, but rendering an otherwise great cup as garbage just because replacement parts aren't offered is a demonstration in designed obsolescence and an example of why our entire system of consumption is so terrible, both for the consumer and the earth. Please offer replacement parts for the good of the people, and the good of this planet!!
This is my 3rd cup/lid combination and I am sick of building up a cup graveyard for a stupid little seal.
Fix the problem!!! Offer replacements!!!

Snapseal lid is poorly designed

The snapseal lid lifts so very little that you can only get a trickle of water certainly not a drink of water......junk

Lids crack

I am disappointed that we have 4 of these mugs and 3 have cracked lids and the seal fell out of the 4th! We cannot purchase lids and I refuse to purchase anymore cups!!!

Have 5 of these and they all leak, one doesn’t even stay hot longer than an hour. Quality has definitely gone down.
