Better coffee mug

We have had a couple different styles of Contigo coffee mugs. My husband bought 4 Snapseal ones for Christmas and uses one everyday. They definitely keep his coffee hot/warm for up to 6 hours, but this week the lid seal failed and it leaks. I handwash all of my dishes, so there is no reason for this failure. I'd really like to get a replacement lid rather than throw out the entire mug. Anyone else with this issue?

LOVE the mug, except...

This mug does keep my coffee hot much longer than my other travel mugs, thanks for that!!! The lid design is a bit frustrating - it was leakproof for the first couple weeks after I bought it but now the piece that is supposed to block the opening allows liquid to leak through, even in the closed position. Coffee, coffee everywhere....

Yeti performance at half the cost

Bought this to replace my 4 year old Autoseal Contigo. Doesn't disappoint as I've come to expect from Contigo. Keep's my coffee hot for a solid 5-6 hours and will keep ice frozen for a solid 16-20, which is right at the performance of my Yeti. Though I think I prefer the Auto-Seal system to the Snap-Seal. A+++

Bottle lid

I really love Contigo's bottles, they keep my drinks cold almost all day. I parchase the snapseal 24 oz black matte bottle, but i got really annoying surprise with the diferente between the snapseal and the autoseal, the second one is more easy to use and doesn't splash you when you open it. To solve it, I wanted to buy a autoseal lid, but SURPRISE it doesn't fit the upper side of the snapseal bottle. You should start selling autoseal lids that fit the snapseal bottles, to give us the option of not needing to buy an entire freaking bottle just because we didn't like the lid system.

Best - and toughest - mug ever!

This was my first ever Contigo mug that I purchased three years ago, after reading a review in a local newspaper. I use it daily to keep both cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. I can fill it with ice cubes and water, and 10-12 hours later, there are still ice cubes. With the lid off, ice cubes can last 6-8 hours. Hot drinks easily last for the advertised 8 hours and more. But what I love most is the amazing durability. I ride a motorcycle, and carry my Contigo in an external backpack pocket. Suffice to say, I've had it slip out last year on a stretch of highway while going at 100 km/hr, where it bounced and tumbled on concrete and asphalt for several hundred meters. But when I recovered it from the side of the highway, I was surprised to find that the lid stayed on and my drink was safe. It survived intact, albeit dented and scratched. To this day, it continues to work perfectly. Best drink mug ever!
