Worst lid ever

I like Contigo mugs and I have bought several. I wanted a bigger mug than the 16oz ones that I have and found this one. But trying to drink from it without spilling coffee all over myself is a real challenge. I don't like the hole and find it hard to use so I take the cover off to drink. I prefer the old type of spout
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After using my travel mug for 3 years, my coffee doesn't stay hot but is warm after 1 1/2 hours.

I love how it keeps my coffee hot . Followed instructions in bottle when purchased 3 years ago and it's never leaked ! I use it everyday a d my coffee is always hot !

Keeps my tea hot for longer than most, but my only real complaint is that the opening is too small and since the seal is extremely close to the opening, the flow of liquid is not as smooth as I'd like it to be.

Hot is ok but definitely works better with cold ice does not melt. I love to take an icy cold sip in the summer. And of course the best part is that it really does not leak at all.

Great Bottle, Less Great Lid

I purchased this water bottle about 9 months ago. I love that it keeps my hot drinks hot and my cold drinks cold, and that it does not leak at all when closed. However, I am disappointed by the quality of the lid. The rubber where you open the water bottle wore down to the point of separating from the plastic of the lid. I trimmed it down and plan to continue to use the water bottle for as long as I can, but hope that the replacement lid becomes available to purchase online soon.
