Sad ending...

I have loved this mug! But sadly the rubber ring has started falling out and has caused several spills. I have taken care of the mug per instructions. I can no longer use the mug, but would love a replacement lid to be able to keep using it. It keeps my coffee hot which is very important to me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Travel Mug. Keeps Coffee HOT!!!!

Received a Contigo Byron Snapseal as a gift. I Love it. It is the best coffee cup I have ever owned. I use it at work everyday. It slides easily under the Keurig or Bunn, when the bottom trays are pulled out. I liked the cup so much, that I bought a Westloop and a Randolph. When sealed, these cups DO NOT LEAK! They also keep the heat in. In fact, the coffee from the Keurig at work needs the lid left off for 10 mins. before it gets to the temperature that I like it. Then I put the lid on and it stays perfect for a couple of hours. The design of the lids are Amazing! The Snapseal is the most simplistic and also hardest to clean. It may not be as fancy as the other Contigos, but gets the job done. In fact the only reasons I dinged it a star is:
1. The snapseal is harder to clean than the other cups.
2. For the insanely great job Contigo did in designing the leak proof lids, The metal cylinders are not universal. It would be nice if you could mix and match the lids and the stainless cups.

I live the no spill feature however recently my cup has now started to leak when I but it up to drink from.

I turned up at a customers house to do some work, asked if I wanted a cuppa, upon saying yes the lady brought out a brand new cup with instructions explaining she loves a bargain n hoped I'd use it, several hrs later asked if I'd like another cuppa, as I forget about them alot(busy busy) I said oh yeah go on I forgot about that. Opened the lid to pour it out n it was still baking hot! (proper lip burner) since being given the mug I refuse to use owt else. Here in the UK I've not found a travel mug that's come anywhere close to this

Not the best ever

I have one for the last six months and it did it's job for the most time but now it leaks around the top cover it looks like the top area where a round black seal rubber was affected by the heat of coffee and got lose and now it leaks what ever I add to it I am ok but not satisfied with this item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap cheap cheap company unresponsive

Very poor quality. Outer case is very weak aluminum and will dent with the slightest amount of force. Once dented bottom wobbles. Inquiries to Contigo are ignored. Second one ive returned to the store. This will be the last. Also when you pop open hold away because it will spray you in the face

Disappointed

I purchased this bottle in December, one for me and one for my husband, I am really disappoionted because the seal inside the top has come out and now it leaks when I drink out of it. What a disappointment.

Great till the seal started failing.

See title. A travel mug that leaks when travelling or when it's tipped up for drinking is not much of a travel mug. It's two months old and unless I find a seal that will work it's done.
