Best Insulated Cup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cup is great for hot or cold. Keeps your coffee hot for hours. Ice stays for at least 24 hours. Plus it is even leak proof! Everyone in the family has one.

I did some research online and quite a few review mentioned Contigo so I purchased one. The Snapseal seems to keep my coffee warm for hours. I would recommend to anyone. I will never buy anything else for a hot beverage

Where I go my Contigo cup goes. Usually Ice and water (boring) except for it stays cold and I no longer buy bottles of water and pollute with all those plastic bottles.

Worst lid design ever!

I now have five of these mugs at home (which defeats the purpose of a reusable mug). Three which I purchased and two replacements, all with defective lids/o-rings. As a result, morning coffees have spilled within our backpack/purse. The Warranty process was easy enough to navigate but receiving replacement mugs which also failed (within the month!) is very frustrating. We take care in hand washing and we wait 10 minutes to seal the mugs, as the instructions note. We have one Autoseal mug which has outlasted all of these and is still going strong. Do not waste your money or sanity on this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst coffee flask ever

Twice this flask has burned me, when you fill it up with hot coffee, leave a while, then open the Snapdeal the steam shoots out at it has no time to release slowly. The other day it burnt my finger forcing me to stop to find cold water to put on my hand. It's dangerous, only safe place is in the bin

Dangerous

Well just taken my second cup back for a refund. On my first purchase the rubber seal on the lid kept falling out and cup constantly leaked so I thought might just be my bad luck so bought another one as I did like the fact that it kept my coffee hot for over an hour unfortunately after a week of use with my new cup the same rubber seal failed and not just a leak this time burning hot coffee sprayed out the lid scalding my hand. I will not be buying a third cup

Sad ending...

I have loved this mug! But sadly the rubber ring has started falling out and has caused several spills. I have taken care of the mug per instructions. I can no longer use the mug, but would love a replacement lid to be able to keep using it. It keeps my coffee hot which is very important to me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Received a Contigo Byron Snapseal as a gift. I Love it. It is the best coffee cup I have ever owned. I use it at work everyday. It slides easily under the Keurig or Bunn, when the bottom trays are pulled out. I liked the cup so much, that I bought a Westloop and a Randolph. When sealed, these cups DO NOT LEAK! They also keep the heat in. In fact, the coffee from the Keurig at work needs the lid left off for 10 mins. before it gets to the temperature that I like it. Then I put the lid on and it stays perfect for a couple of hours. The design of the lids are Amazing! The Snapseal is the most simplistic and also hardest to clean. It may not be as fancy as the other Contigos, but gets the job done. In fact the only reasons I dinged it a star is:
1. The snapseal is harder to clean than the other cups.
2. For the insanely great job Contigo did in designing the leak proof lids, The metal cylinders are not universal. It would be nice if you could mix and match the lids and the stainless cups.
