Keeps Liquid hot

I have officially had my mug/thermos for a year now and couldn't be more happier.
Price is very reasonable, Style is very nice, I use mine for coffee and it keeps the coffee extremely hot for at least 5 hours maybe more. I have to take the top off just so I can drink it because its too hot. Given that its metal there is no rust. Cleaning is very easy. I have no problems with it. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to take their coffee on the go and keep it hot

Great travel mug

The cup works great but the lids inner seal stretched out. It spilt hot coffee on me. I love how easy the lid is to use, but the rubber seal is bad and only a few months old

It's great (except for a few things).

Pluses:
1. If you have the Snapseal in place and have twisted the top closed, it does not leak.
2. It is very attractive.
3. The rubberized grip is GREAT.
4. It keeps things hot or cold, just as was advertised.
5. It is a convenient size.
6. Its weight is better than most.
7. It feels as if it is very good quality.
Minuses:
1. I have yet to be able to open it using only one hand. I have to use both thumbs under the Snapseal to get it open.
2. The hole through which you drink is recessed. That allows the liquid to move sideways into the valley created by being recessed, and it leaks out of the sides around my mouth.
3. Every time I use the Snapseal, my face gets wet, probably because of the liquid trapped behind the seal is, in effect, spitting at me.
4. You have to wash the body of the container by hand, and that means:
a. I have to go buy a brush long enough to reach the bottom,
b. The brush must have bristles at the top of the head (most don't), and
c. The bristles have to be firm enough to remove coffee stains without damaging the metal.

I have had many issues with my lid and the seal coming up. this is the second travel mug that I bought just to have the seal come up again, only this time it took about 2 uses for it to break! contigo needs to fix this, completely unacceptable. i refuse to repurchase yet ANOTHER one..

Lid has poor design

I’ve had this mug replaced twice because the rubber ring on the inside of the lid has come out and then the mug leaks. The third one which was shipped to me May 17th has the same issue the ring came out. It’s great that there’s a lifetime warranty and has been replaced with no hassle but I don’t even want another replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best mug I have ever had!

Saw one of these mugs at church once and was impressed how it does NOT leak any liquid. (I clean the carpets) After purchasing one I was very impressed with how well it stays hot or cold. I have owned my mug for about 3-4 years and it still looks and performs as it did when new.
I would recommend this to a friend!
