The ring that makes the lid leakproof always fails

I love the shape, size, and style of this Snapseal Byron mug. I love the one-handed use and its ability to keep my drink hot for a few hours. But, I've owned three and the ring that is in the lid to keep it leakproof fails consistently ... it stretches and falls out, and unless one is careful, leaks are common. In addition, the rubber band on the outside to provide grip also stretches and slips over time. I could live with the outer grip ring issues, but the leaky lid is problematic. A better ring design or some feature in the lid that does not allow it to fall out is required for this to be the perfect mug.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The seal didn't last a month

Bought this and the large seal around the lid did not even last a month. The seal was stretched out and all we did was take the lid on and off the cup. Tried finding replacements and can not seem to locate any. Great cup have an older one and have not had any problems but got another one and the seal is junk. Thought I found the perfect cup but now disjointed.

Not well sealed

I heard the best comments about this mug on my work place that I immediately went to buy me one. What a prank! It not seals well, does not keep my coffee hot not even warm. My recommendation is not to buy it if you are going to walk with it on your hand, because you're going to leave a trace behind yourself.

Seal Compromised

I've had this mug for three weeks. The round seal came out when I was rinsing the lid yesterday. I pushed the seal back in, and now the mug won't stop leaking. I work from home and have cats, and need a spillproof/leakproof lid. This is my FOURTH Contigo mug to have a lid break or fail during cleaning. I've had three AutoSeal mugs and this SnapSeal. It might be time to find a different brand...

I love how this cup keeps your coffee hot but disappointed that the seal on lid is gone already especially has its one of the more expensive products..can replacement seals or lids be got..??

The snap and seal was "ok" for about 2-3 weeks. But the seal in the lid stretch out. Very disappointed In my choice of coffee mug. I bragged about your company since 2015, when I got 2 auto seal mugs. Stays hot for hours. Est 8 hours. AMAZING, PERFECT. I went on vacation took my mug with me and gave one to my friend I was visiting. Unfortunately i forgot mine. My friend loves them both. SHE WON'T SEND MINE BACK. Needed a new mug. Wrong choice. Auto seal is the way to go!
