Ink flow is not consistent - have to frequently shake the pen as if it is running out of ink.

Ink flow does not flow smoothly and consistently. Portions of letters do not show because ink must not penetrate the entire ball point surface. This has occurred on more than one pen. We’ve all heard: If it seems too good of a deal it’s not true...

This is a great inexpensive pen. I was hesitant to get it thinking it was a really cheap pen but I am enjoying it very much. It's comfortable in the hand writes smoothly and is well worth a try.
