I purchased a box of the Tru Red 1.0 ballpoint pens.
I like ballpoint pens in general because they just seem to last longer.
This one write fast, thus I call them my speedy pens.
It's a long taller pen than usual as well and that's nice.
It's super black ink and that's good.
The ink does blot a bit and leave blobs so I really wouldn't consider it super smooth.
If you want super smooth, you need a .7. Go a little thinner than the 1.0 and you get a smoother writing pen even if you're heavy handed. Overall, it's a great pen for fast quick notes and the ink is super dark.
