The Staples Aura I picked up somewhere is really nice smoother than most. So I went shopping for something similar and found these TRU RED sticks. I don't need a retractable for my soduko puzzles just a smooth bold writer. These are really smooth and bold I like that about them. But they skip. It's not a big thing but annoying. I can't trust them I never know when they will skip. Oh the tension! That's not why I do puzzles. Will probably buy a box of Auras.

Chose the cheapest basic pen bc I didn't need anything fancy. I did need something that would write. Apparently that was too much to ask. Pen skips as if it's almost out of ink. Had to rewrite everything scribble rewrite scribble. Finally returned them to the store and splurged for midgrade papermate.
