This was my first time purchasing these pens and it will not be my last. The pens are very reasonably priced and I think we got 12. They color of the ink is black. We are contstantly looking for pens in our office they get misplaced or the customer takes them or they just stop working(and there is still ink in them). I am in a fast paced office and when I need a pen I need a pen to write! So we are always on the hunt for a good writing pen that is reasonable in price. The Tru Red Ballpoint Gripped pen fits the bill. Great pen and Great price.

They write well but very poorly made. Half were cracked the pens fell apart and unable to write with them. I just threw away not worth replacing I gave a full star only because the ink was smooth and wrote well. The pen deserves better construction.

These pens are low-quality even for the cheap price point. They will most likely fail you right when you need to sign that important document and have you asking "can I borrow your pen please..." Hard to beat Staples amazing shipping speed and service though!

I guess the old expression is true. You get what you paid for. These pens are by far the WORST pens that I have either bought or gotten for free. Each one has some sort of fuzz on the tip that I have to constantly wipe off or the ink stops as I write.I am surprised that Staples would even sell such a poor product!

I suppose our clients like this pen well enough to walk off with it after writing checks. They are a good buy...inexpensive have a good grip and don’t skip.
