These pens require no real effort as they glide across the paper. However the protective plastic tip is not easily removed by hand; I used a kitchen knife to pry it off. Also the tip of the pen’s shaft has an annoying tendency to loosen as one writes necessitating an interruption to tighten it again. Overall the pens are very useful to have on hand despite the relatively minor inconveniences already mentioned.

The quality is inconsistent...find the Staples retractable ballpoint pens more reliable.

Although these pens get the job done I was expecting an unopened box when I bought this. All of them had fingerprints on them suggesting that folks had tried them before which is not a very good customer experience especially during a pandemic.

Good pens for the money. Purchased as "loaners" to co workers who need to borrow pen. Did not want to go extravagant in price. Price and quality for these were fine.
