I purchased this trimmer to knock down the weeds in our Arizona gravel scraped yard. The trimmer so far has worked great. This is my first trimmer purchased and first electric one to use. This trimmer is far better than the gas units and I sure don’t miss having to pull start them. It has the power I needed knocking down those weeds. The battery pack has a long life and very quick to charge. The charger unit is impressive and the best charger I have owned. It is also the first with a cooling fan. Overall I am very pleased with my choice of trimmers and recommended it.

I received the replacement battery for the one that would not charge. I love my chain saw, the leaf blower, and the string trimmer, BUT unfortunately the SKIL batteries do not hold a charge long enough to get any work done.
