Charger or battery has failed after <20 charges

Bought this in 2021 and at just over 3 years and not more than 20 charges at most, the charger or battery has failed. New battery is 2/3 the cost of a whole new tool/charger/battery combo. Will not repeat this mistake and will not be buying Skil again.

It's great NEW! The test will be over time! I wouldn't want to purchase another one of these babies with in a few years! Right now it beats dealing with an extension cord! I looked at many reviews for this product and the reviews were pretty good in comparison to others! Skil usually has good products. But again talk to me 2 years after using this product! I am hopeful it is reliable!

I had this battery with my chainsaw. It had great power, though, predictably it didn’t last for a lot of cutting. It then failed to hold a charge after about a year. However, skill provided a free replacement under warranty. I also purchased a 4AH battery with lasts much longer with the chainsaw. Between the two I hat quite a lot done.
I would recommend this to a friend!
