I used my new PWR CORE 40 hedge trimmer for the first time this past Wednesday and I have to say it did a fantastic job! It cut through my hedge branches like butter! Very nice! However, it can be a bit heavy when you lift it above 5 or 6 foot hedge levels consistently because of the attached battety pack. But overall, it really did a great job! The battery pack charged up very quickly initially too. I bought the recommended machine oil that should be applied to the trimmer blades to help lubricant them before trimming. That really helps with the cut as well. When I cut into a branch that was slightly bigger than 3/4 of an inch, the trimmer cut off immediately. Once I pulled the trimmer out of the branch, I pressed the button and the trimmer responded immediately and continued to cut like normal. So it works quickly and efficiently when activated. Excellent! I like the added blade protector that comes with the trimmer too! I would definitely recommend this hedge trimmer for any residential or commercial hedge trimming job! Thank you, SKIL!

I really enjoy the batteries power and flexibility to move from tool to tool. The only problem I have is that here in Florida it's really hot so the battery gets really hot too. With continuous use until fully discharged, I have to cool down the battery before recharging or the red indicator on the charger indicates an error.

This was a fathers day gift 2023 from my kids the battery failed july 2024 since my daughter cant find the receipt they wont honor the warranty i dont have this problem with any other brands i have had
