We have always wanted and ice maker machine. Our fridge we’ve had for 20 years and recently ice machine broke. Who needs the fridge ice when you can have perfect nugget Ice from the GE Opal ice machine. Looking forward to cocktails with perfect opal ice and having fresh ice for tail gate trips!

We purchased the Opal Ice Maker on Prime Day just because we had heard about it from others. We LOVE it! It couldn't be easier to install and it makes ice very fast.

The good ice

Just hooked it up yesterday and have already been enjoying the good stuff in ample quantities. Been emptying the pebble ice into the bin in my freezer to have a larger quantity on hand at any given time and to use the in-door ice chute.

Once the Opel arrived it was plugged in and has worked flawlessly ever since. Cleaning was quick and easy. Now we have ice anytime it is needed and I don’t have to run to the corner store for ice. Great product, thanks.

We have been considering the Opal Nugget Ice Maker for a few years but we were also in the process of building our new/dream home. Once our new home was completed and we moved in, it was time. We both LOVE nugget ice and this Ice Maker delivers!! So easy to set up and start making ice.

We purchased this to use in our wet bar area. It has become our go to in just a few short day - we prefer this as opposed to our freezer ice. You can hear it running, but it quickly becomes white noise and is not an issue. The only thing I would change is to make the drain tubes a little bit longer. It is just a little too far from the sink to just let them run into the sink. It is a heavy appliance, so having the tubes reach the sink would be awesome.
