Great concept

Totally love the concept! It’s a lot easier than driving through Chick-fil-A or sonic. My only complaint is that this is the third machine I have purchased in three years. I guess it’s not cost-effective to repair. I’m hoping this one will last more than a year.

Loved my ice maker, but it died just under a year, so they sent me a refurbished one and it lasted less than a year. So disappointed for the amount of money I spent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My family loves the nugget ice maker. It is a big hit when we have family gatherings. Who doesn't love the "fast food" nugget ice. It makes ice in a short amount of time and having the side tank makes it efficient and convenient so we never run out. It may make some strange, loud noises when it is defrosting. Unfortunately, that may or may not happen in the middle of the night! Other than that we are highly satisified with the product.

Ice is great! Doesn’t make as fast or hold as much as we thought it would but we are pleased with it. The only trouble is sometimes it runs water through and melts the ice in the bin. Haven’t figured out why it happens or how to make it stop.

I have just received my Opal. I’ve washed it filled it with water and I am making ice. It fits under my cabinets. It is not loud like I read in the reviews. I’m very excited. The ice looks really good. My daughter says is better than Chick-fil-A.

10 months in and constantly stops working

We have had the ice maker for 10 months now. We LOVE the ice but don't love that the machine constantly stops working. We clean it weekly and even with that it will stop working and blink at us, wanting us to clean it again 2 days later. We only use distilled water in it as well. I am going to call the company and see if there is anything we can do about it... even with getting it on a Black Friday sale last year, and loving the ice when it's working, it was not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love this ice maker! It makes ice quickly and is a nice size for the counter top. My only
complaint is that the cleaning process is a little tedious and is required very randomly no matter how much you use it. We only use filtered water in ours.
