We got this as a gift for our cabin because our icemaker in our fridge socks. This is going to be great this summer when we're all at the cabin. It makes wonderful ice, just like Sonic ice. Only icemaker I found made in America!

3 Months Very Happy

Three months isn’t very long in the grand scheme of things, but I didn’t plug it in and write a review the next day. I ordered this and received it October 14, I set it up the following day. It has been plugged in and running 24/7, even when we were out of town for a week. I’ve had no problems, as it should be. I stressed over spending the money for it for quite awhile but I’ve noticed all of us using it and actually drinking more water. I don’t have an ice maker in my freezer, so this definitely saves me the time and hassle of going to buy ice. The worst part about that is the bags tear or come open easily - and I admit to leaving them in my car overnight in the past when I forgot that I bought them.
I have since talked a friend into buying one as well. It’s kind of mesmerizing and I’d love to know how it knows to make those little cylinders! So I’ve forgotten what I spent on it but rather think about the fact that it’s made things much easier.

Doesn’t last long! Now just sits on my counter

Nice machine but won’t last! only had mine for a little over a year and it has now stopped working. Followed care instructions and used distilled water and still didn’t last too long!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
