Piece of Advice: waste of money. Terrible product

If I could give 0 starts, I would. Terrible product, it stops working within a few uses, requires descaling kit which is expensive and even though you follow all trouble shooting steps, still doesn't make any ice. Worse purchase I have ever made.

I got this for my wife and I love it more than she does! This is a great counter top ice machine. I have had several others and this GE is by far the best I have ever gotten!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the ice from this machine. The downfall is it makes a lot of noise trying to make ice and even when I use the light dimming down on the control it is still very light at night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are people that love their ice!! This nugget machine is easy to set-up & use! It delivers the ice that everyone loves. Spend a lil more money because you get what you pay for! This Opal Ice Maker is worth every penny!

We love the ice it makes but it has so many issues.
All throughout the day and night is makes this horrible moaning noise that lasts anywhere from 1 to 4 minutes. Happens at all hours. Sometimes it decides to stop making ice. The ice melts, over flows the water reserve and lands on the hardwood floors. Great for wooden floors. It seems like this is a common problem with the moaning noise for the machine. There is something wrong with it. I have been using this for less than a year. Can someone at ge help. Would never buy this again. I wasted so much money. Bad product.
