Unavoidable black mold

Unavoidable black mold build up. No matter how many times we clean this thing we still get splotchy ice cubes. Gross.

Nice but noisy

Only 4 stars because no person or product deserves 5 stars because no one or thing is perfect. I love my ice machine it makes a lot of ice. Unfortunately, it is pretty noisy when it produces ice. I wish I had purchased the newer model.

Ice is great. Noise level - quieter than most machines. Best results using bottled water and not tap water . Produces large quantities of ice is short time

Short term life

This product has let me down. Everything about it is great except for the fact that it only works for a little over a year. We have followed the manual for its routine cleaning cycles and only use distilled water to make the ice. Our first one stopped working after about 16 months. We got a replacement and now it has stopped working again after the same amount of time. I would expect it to last much longer with the price point, but now I will be switching brands to something more reliable.

This thing is impossible to clean. The water reservoir gets mildew and buildup in the bottom of it because there’s no good way to clean it. This is a poorly designed system that is prone to mold, mildew, and scaling.
