It's a great machine, however if it had an attachment directly to water supply would be great. There are videos on YouTube, to do this but I don't want to destroy the tank

Love this ice maker! I had a First Build Nugget ice maker that had died. This was a replacement for that machine. I love this one even more! The side tank is a great addition. And the ice is perfect! Exactly like the sonic ice. Makes your drinks colder asks taste better! Ok, maybe it really doesn't change the taste of your drinks but it sure seems like it!

We love the nugget ice. It's described as 'chewy'. It's a perfect description. We did buy the extra tank so lots of ice within a few hours. The ice starts dropping within 10 minutes. It's very easy to use. We do put extra in a two gallon plastic bag. It needs breaking up in that process but drop it on the floor and the nuggets separate. Our house has GE appliances - all of which work so very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After years of wanting an Opal profile nugget ice maker and not being able to due to price,I finally was able to get it and let me tell you, this ice blows every other cheaper option I have bought over the years away. Not only is the machine aesthetically pleasing but the ice is so soft and always readily available. I would hands down recommended to anyone looking for a Ice machine.I have been chewing ice all day now!
