Sudden Loud Noises

The machine makes ice at the perfect pace for our family of 4. The ice itself is also amazing. But we’ve now gone through 3 of these because of the sound it suddenly starts to make. This is a video of our 3rd one we have now so you can see how loud it gets. It’s random. I turn it off and it may go away when I turn it back on. But it’ll start back up again. Wakes us all up at night too.

Have been waiting to pull the trigger on this ice maker for a while. Bought a few off-brand ones that died after a year while my sis n laws GE opal was still going strong. Glad we finally made the purchase, perfect ice nuggets that don’t melt too quickly.

Crunchy ice

Love this machine. My husband didn’t want me to get it because “our fridge already makes ice for free” but I’ve always loved this style of crunchy ice. I have anxiety and it always helps to crunch something up, and I wanted to cut back on candy and stop clenching my teeth and grinding my jaw at work. Got this machine and now I have an endless supply of delicious crunchable ice whenever I want it. My husband and kids use it all the time too so maybe next time they won’t question my ideas haha

Delicious Crushed Ice

Love the crushed ice! Product works great. My only concern is, I wish it was short enough to slide under my upper cabinets on my kitchen counter. It is fairly noisy when it’s running. Noisy enough that it makes my dog bark at it. She will get used to it soon I hope.
