I’ve been wanting a nugget ice maker for a long time. I purchased a different brand and it was super loud and didn’t actually make nugget ice. Needless to say, it got returned. So I was skeptical about this one but I’m so glad I bought it. My hydration is at an all time high.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible Product!

This is the worst countertop ice maker. Only had it two months and it stopped making ice. The yellow light stays on saying I need to descale the ice maker when I’ve already done that and sanitized it too. There’s no simple way to pour water into the machine and water won’t flow from my side tank. This is a disaster of a product Snd I wish I’d never bought it. Very unhappy with my purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's an overpriced temporary machine

I've tried contacting support only to be met with autoreply. The ice is great but the machine is garbage. For the prices they are asking I would expect the product to last longer than 15 months. I have battled mold for over a year and now it is stuck saying to add water when there is plenty of water. Every time the light came on for cleaning the machine was cleaned according to manufacture instructions. I'm quite disappointed in this product as a whole. The product puts out some great nugget ice but the price compared to the longevity of the product is hard to rationalize. For such an expensive appliance I would expect at least 2 years of great service out it. The warranty stops at 12 months and the machines magically stop working shortly after. Please believe me, I have bought 3 of these now and don't think I'll let GE swindle me again.
Here's a bit of good... The ice is great, the capacity is great. That's it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend trying out an electronic reset. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in.
