Christmas gift early.

Mother got myself and kids this for Christmas since we go through a lot of ice with sports events and just everyday life. We drink a lot of water! A little heavy to lift and set up but otherwise love the easy setup and the side tank to see when needs refilled. Still learning all about this and can’t wait to see how it helps.

Issues with the machine

I have been using it for like 4-5 months, and since 2 month it start making weird noises.. I have clean it for several times and it won’t stop, also a lot of times out of nowhere it stops making ice..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve encountered some challenges with the GE ice maker. There’s an frequent squeaking noise that can be bothersome. Additionally, I’ve noticed issues with its ice-making performance and occasional shutdowns, which have impacted its overall functionality. It hasn’t quite lived up to the expected performance outlined in the product description. I really need help from GE to know what to do with this machine... I just have 6 months using it, I think it won't last much more. I'm very disappointed.
