BEWARE- SAVE YOUR MONEY

We are on our second ice maker (same model) both of which quit working. The first one lasted about a year, the second model less than one year. We deep cleaned and descaled both hoping they would work again, but nope. We thought maybe the first one had a fluke defect so we got another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved it until it broke in less than 60 days.

I am so upset! I loved this ice machine. Had it for exactly 60 days and the motor burned out and doesn’t work. I cleaned it and did all the things as instructed. Used distilled water and it still broke. Horrible that this product can’t work as intended and had to get returned.

So far, I have only had one issue, which happened by my own fault. I let it go completely empty of water and when I filled it, it still wouldn't work. Turns out, letting it go empty caused an air bubble in the line that wouldn't move. I had to disconnect it and route it better and it went away and it works great. My wife and daughter especially love it, and that makes me happy.
